ACDC Hotfix
Posted by Johan Nel on 31 October 2016 04:23 PM

A hotfix for ACDC 4.2 and 4.3 has been released.

Issue Fixed by Hotfix: [WAE-875] Attached Object Data Removed During Pipe Break Validation
For validation processes that included a pipe break check, an issue occurred that caused the previous attached object data to be removed from validated objects.  This can cause data conversion inconsistencies. A hotfix has been made available via the product download section of the Open Spatial Website.

Open Spatial recommend that this hotfix be applied as soon as possible to ensure data integrity.

Open Spatial Support announcement

Microsoft have announced their policy for on-going support of IE. Open Spatial will follow suit and so we would like you to be aware of the details.

This excerpt below is from the Microsoft announcement:

“Internet Explorer is a component of the Windows operating system and the most current version will continue to follow the specific support lifecycle policy for the operating system on which it is installed. Internet Explorer 11 will be supported for the life of Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows 10. The latest version of Internet Explorer will continue to follow the component policy, which means that it follows the support lifecycle and is supported for as long as the Windows operating system on which it is installed.”

See the announcement here - Microsoft Announcement

See full details here - Link to Microsoft Support Lifecycle Page for IE

For Open Spatial customers, this may impact users of older versions of enlighten (2.7 and below).  All versions of enlighten 3.1 and later are certified on IE 11.

enlighten 3.2 and later is certified on IE 11, Chrome, Firefox and Microsoft Edge browsers.
